309S stainless steel wire mesh is also known as 309S stainless steel woven mesh, 309S stainless steel mesh, 309S screen mesh, 309S filter mesh, 309S metal mesh mesh.

American Standard S30908 (American AISI, ASTM) Features and Uses: Corrosion resistance and heat resistance are better than 0Cr19Ni9.

309S is a sulfur-containing free-cutting stainless steel used where free-cutting and high surface finish are primarily required.

309s is a lower carbon variant of 309 stainless steel used where welding is required. The lower carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation in the heat-affected zone near the weld, which can lead to intergranular corrosion (weld erosion) of stainless steel in some environments.
